The left picture are the drawing and entity of the kettle style reactor, we marked the basic parts range with the colored frames. Agitator:The part in the red frame is the agitator. The agitator is assembled for stirring purposes. Reactor Body:The rest parts except the agitator could be called as reactor body.And the reactor body could be seperated into two parts shown as in the drawing. ᆞ The parts in blue frames are named as reactor heads, the head on the top could be called as upper head, the one at the bottom is bottom head. ᆞ The parts in green frame is called as reactor cylinder, or kettle cylinder. |

(1) Motor:it offers the power of stirring. Usually , it is electric motor.(2) Reducer:It is used to reduce stirring speed of the motor shaft, so to offer required torque for stirring.(3) Shaft sleeve sealing coupler:This part to offer sealing purpose to prevent the medium leak from reactor kettle. There are three types of couplers, the magnetic sealing ( shown as the drawing in left side), the mechinical sealing( shown as the photo in right side), and packing sealing.(4) Upper axis.(5) axial coupler.It is used to connect the upper axis and lower axis.(6) Lower axis.(7) Blades. There are upper head ( shown as figure 1 )and lower head(shown as figure 2).For the stainless steel reactor with kettle style, the heads are of same diameter.They are opened with ports ( the specific ports drawing shown in figure 3, and the top view of upper head show in figure 4 ) of different sizes for different functions. Ports and Nozzles: Because of the numerous applications of the SSR reactors, the functions are a lot. Basicly, the following ports are needed in common. ᆞ The port for maintaining or installation: For reactor with over 1000L volume, it is mainly using manhole. And for the reactor less than 1000L volume, the reactor is designed with open style, that can directly sperate the top head from cylinder by unbolting the main flange. ᆞ Ports for monitoring: These ports are for temperature, pressure, PH valve, density, liquid level, glass window, etc. Generally speaking, the ports for temperature and pressure monitoring are the essential needs. ᆞ Ports for charging and discharging: As per the phases of medium and charging timing, the ports profile and size are different. |
